BUILT BY A FATHER
AND HIS SON.
FOR PEOPLE LIKE US.
Bidness was built by Nathan Ridge — owner of Ridge Construction in New Orleans — and his 17-year-old son Carter, an active retail trader and self-taught engineer. We built the entire platform in 6.5 weeks, between job sites and pre-market sessions, on roughly four hours of sleep a night.
We built it for traders who can't afford $500 a month in tools but still want real data, real analysis, and a real edge. Bidness is our answer to a fragmented, overpriced trading-tool space — a modern platform with AI at the center, priced fairly for the rest of us.
FROM A JOB SITE
TO A LAUNCH.
Nathan Ridge has been a serial entrepreneur his whole life. His first business — a tree service — ran for 17 years. After that he spent three years working a construction job for someone else. In January 2026, he went out on his own again and started Ridge Construction.
His son Carter, 17, is a low-float momentum trader who wakes up at 3 AM on trading days, scans the tape pre-market, and trades before school. He's also a self-taught engineer.
On February 20, 2026, Carter spotted a Rackspace–Palantir deal pre-market and went full-port long before the open. He told his dad. They both watched it run. That was the day the spark hit.
From that night through the soft launch on April 27, Carter ran 20-hour days on roughly four hours of sleep. Pre-market trading at dawn. School during the day. Construction jobs with his dad. Building Bidness in every gap. 6.5 weeks straight.
The full public launch is May 14, 2026 — three days before Carter turns 18 and Nathan turns 50.
THE RETAIL TRADER
WAS GETTING LEFT BEHIND.
Finviz for screening. TradingView for charts. Trade Ideas for signals. Benzinga for news. Twitter for plays. Five tabs, five logins, five monthly bills.
The tools that actually work — Bloomberg, FactSet, Trade Ideas Holly — are priced for hedge funds. $200/mo minimum just to get started.
ChatGPT gives generic financial advice. No platform had an AI analyst that actually thinks like a trader — pre-market plays, trade grading, real-time analysis.
Want to practice for a funded account eval? Pay $500 for a course or just wing it on your real account. There was no middle ground.
ONE PLATFORM.
BUILT FOR
HOW TRADERS
ACTUALLY TRADE.
Bidness is what happens when an active trader and a lifelong entrepreneur — who happen to be son and father — build the platform they wish existed. Every feature maps to a real workflow. Every widget solves a real problem.
We put an AI analyst — Bob — at the center of everything. He generates the morning plays. He grades trades. He reads the macro and connects geopolitical events to your watchlist. His system prompt is a blend of Carter's low-float momentum playbook and broader market dynamics, built to read setups the way a trader does.
We're modernizing the trading-tool space for the retail trader who's serious, underfunded relative to the institutions, and tired of being told to pay Bloomberg prices to get Bloomberg intelligence.
THE AVERAGE TRADER.
WHO'S ANYTHING BUT AVERAGE.
You trade pre-market. You know what float rotation means. You want a screener that finds the movers before 9AM, and an AI that tells you which ones are worth your attention.
You want a funded account but you can't afford to blow your real account learning the rules. You need a simulator that replicates the exact eval conditions of Apex, TopStep, and FTMO.
You're serious but still learning. You want a platform that teaches you as you trade — Bob grading every decision, the Sim Game building pattern recognition, and a community to compete with.
You know Fed decisions and tariff announcements move markets. You want a platform that connects the geopolitical dots to your watchlist — before the move, not after.
RADICAL
TRANSPARENCY.
Every play Bob generates is logged and every outcome is recorded — wins, losses, and the ones that went nowhere. Subscribers see the complete record, not a highlight reel. We don't advertise performance numbers, because a marketing page is the wrong place to judge a system.
Bidness is a subscription product. Our business model is simple: you pay us, we build tools that make you better. We don't monetize your trading behavior, your watchlists, or your data. Ever.
We built the foundation in 4 hours. We built the platform in 6.5 weeks. We move fast, we communicate clearly, and we build in public. If something breaks, we fix it and we tell you. No vague status pages.
